- As the subject says I have a cardinal internal voice modem that came
- with my computer, and am trying to use it as an answering machine. The
- faxworks that came with the computer doesn't work satisfactory with
- windows 95. The modem quits responding after sharing a port, etc. I
- heard somewhere on the net that it could be configured to work with the
- microsoft unimodem-V driver, but so far I have not had success. I wrote
- cardinal tech support, and they wrote me back that they didn't know what
- the hell I was talking about. If anyone has configured it successfully,
- or knows of software (preferabaly free for a broke college student) that
- works better than faxworks, PLEASE e-mail me. Thanks for the time...
