  14. As the subject says I have a cardinal internal voice modem that came 
  15. with my computer, and am trying to use it as an answering machine.  The 
  16. faxworks that came with the computer doesn't work satisfactory with 
  17. windows 95.  The modem quits responding after sharing a port, etc.  I 
  18. heard somewhere on the net that it could be configured to work with the 
  19. microsoft unimodem-V driver, but so far I have not had success.  I wrote 
  20. cardinal tech support, and they wrote me back that they didn't know what 
  21. the hell I was talking about.  If anyone has configured it successfully, 
  22. or knows of software (preferabaly free for a broke college student) that 
  23. works better than faxworks, PLEASE e-mail me. Thanks for the time...
